Chemo #4…Dec. 16, 2008
Hello family and friends,
I have been thinking a lot about you during this holiday time. Thank you for keeping in touch and for supporting me through this protocol.
Round #3 went well as did my surgery on December 2nd. The surgeons are thrilled with my recovery and my energy is finally back, just in time for my next treatment!
Tomorrow is round #4, nearly half way through Phase I of my protocol. As you may know, for each round I have a mantra. When I go in for treatment, it gives me great strength and calm. Tomorrow’s mantra, like the others, is very special. Tomorrow’s is FRIENDSHIP. Like my family, where would I be in life without my incredible friends? It is thanks to my friends that I have great calm and strength, in good times and in the not so good times. Going through a recurrence is difficult, yet it is amazing to experience the overflow of love and support from my friends. From near and far, my friends have rallied around me and lifted me. So tomorrow, I will be thinking about YOU and how much I care and love you.
I wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season filled with love, laughter, good health, and time for connecting with family and friends!
Sue
