Hello family and friends!

I hope your 2009 is off to a great start. Thank you for supporting me through this journey and for keeping in touch. Your love, well wishes and encouragement mean the world to our family.

Updates:

I saw the plastics doctors last week and they are very pleased with my progress. They have “extended my leash” and I will not see them again until February 5th! I am much more mobile now and better able to move around. Once I have finished Phase I of the chemo protocol and when my blood count is back within a normal range, I will have some follow up surgeries, as expected. This will probably take place in April/May. It is nice to actually start looking ahead. (more…)

Friday, October 24th, 2008

Due to my recent surgery and recovery, Dave, Kathryn and Molly took over the helm of TEAM SUE HARMON at Sunday’s American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at Manhattanville College. It was a record-breaking day on many fronts. The walk hosted over 15,000 walkers who raised over $1.61 million dollars. Sue raised over $105,600 and TEAM SUE HARMON collectively raised over $126, 500! Thanks to the 250+ walkers who joined the Harmons as part of TEAM SUE HARMON!

Sue celebrates 10 years of being CANCER FREE in 2008 with a $100,000 Strides Campaign!

Monday, August 4th, 2008

Celebrating Sue’s tenth year of survivorship in 2008, Team Sue Harmon is challenging itself to raise $10,000 for each year since Sue’s diagnosis: a total of $100,000! This year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is scheduled for October 19, 2008 at Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY. Please help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 by making a generous donation to Team Sue Harmon! With your support, we can reach this goal and support the fine work of the American Cancer Society in offering Patient Services, Research, Education and Advocacy.

Can we count on your support this year?
